I cannot recommend a Windows digital media player pc because we feel that our Linux digital signage pc is by far a better solution. It is small, powerful, durable, fast with a built in firewall, automatic updating and maintenance that is custom built from the ground up for our digital signage network - and not too terribly priced. My personal opinion is that if you need to buy a pc for our digital signage, our linux digital media player pc is the best option for both the short and long term. We give you root access to change anything you want to (although you never really need to) plus if you ever decide to go with a different signage system in the future, you can format it with Windows or anything else and are good to go most of the time.
