Making the Windows digtal media player more stable

Post by mjstrand »

Our system automatically tries to add a daily schedule to start the startsign.exe program as a little more protection from "outages". If it is already running, it just ignores it, but if it is not, it will get the communication going again (assuming that there is a network connection). If your Windows security policy does not allow a schedule to be created, you can manually set it up or the easiest way is to log in to the pc as an administrator user, run the strandvision startsign program and once the signage comes up, just log out and log in as the normal signage user.
