Can use a Linux computer for my digital signage?

Post by Amy-StrandVision »

Yes, you can! In fact, Linux provides many benefits for use as a playback computer, including: better security (spyware, pop-ups) and increased processor power.

Because our system can use an Internet browser, your Linux computer would only need a basic configuration. We have extensively tested our software on SUSE Linux. We can even help you change power management settings and configure your Linux system to display StrandVision.

In the near future, a custom configured Linux PC will be availible from StrandVision. We'll post more details when they're availible.
