Create your own RSS feeds for free

Many digital signage systems have the ability to use RSS feeds as content for your employees and customers to view. This section is for interesting and entertaining RSS feeds or directories. Note that it is your responsibility to check license restrictions before using a feed.

Create your own RSS feeds for free

Post by mjstrand »

Occasionally, we have people that may want to create their own RSS feed. Although StrandVision digital signage software allows you to create your own database of information, sometimes it is good to create an RSS feed and use the StrandVision's RSS feed reader capability. Here is a list of free products to let you create your own RSS feed.

There are two main categories of software. The easiest is a totally hosted online solution where you don't even need your own web site. The other is a feed generator where you put the resulting code onto your own web site. When you post your software feeds, put the word "Hosted" in the title for the first category and "RSS Generator" for the second.

Hi Mike,

I've also run across these RSS creator program: http://www.feedforall.com. I haven't used it yet but it looks like it could be pretty good. I'd be interested in anyone's feedback on this package.
